wow - maybe we should have to show a passport or something for proof of name

are there any other names we can't use on the board?
i know the names dave and carlos are out...
i hope the name rachel hasn't been taken yet
of course i could always just go by "parker" unless of course that would offend someone

and by the way - this was posted by rachel parker of bordentown, nj -- but currently of big pine key!

and my thoughts on any posting guidelines are the following:

1st- be sure to pick a name that hasn't already been chosen. i mean really, show some respect for others

2nd- the post should probably have something to do with kayaking (i'll be getting to that part of my post soon-i should probably comply with my own guidelines)

3rd- don't take things so personally, if someone types something you don't like then move on. and if you happen to see that person at a put-in somewhere and you still don't like what they typed then feel free to crack them in the head, i don't approve of such behavior but i would definitely pull up a chair and drink a beer while watching

so, in closing - i paddled my little sit-on-top over to porpoise key this morning. it's a nice little island that you can see from my back porch - i got tired of looking at it from a distance so i scooted over there for a bit with the dog and my mask and snorkel. i'm bringing the sit-on-top home with me this trip so i can take it to my mom's new shore house on LBI.
Oh, yesterday i did some snorkeling at the reef and saw something huge underwater, it was larger than me (i'm talking big) - i think i've convinced myself it was an unusually large tarpon or tuna with some sort of birth defect that made it look a little sharky in the face - so yeah, some huge tarpon down here for their mating season

someone do me a favor and heat the water up there, ok?
i would like to go kayaking there too, but it's so beautiful here that i just don't know if i can take the cold water
i'm going to start heading home tonight - picking up a friend in orlando tomorrow then i should be back in nj by tuesday morning. i'd like to start paddling more regularly once i get home so let's make some plans. this weekend is out for me because my best friend is getting married on saturday - i'm hoping they'll start popping out some kids soon
