no, it was me totally
no lights or anything, he wasn't responding to a call
it just happened that he was a cop - it could have been any car
i'm still not sure what happened
i think i passed out or something, no drugs or alcohol involved on my part
maybe low sugar...whatever, i don't know
i was on my way to school - first day back after winter break
and it was literally right outside of campus (you can see the school in the pictures)
and it was ewing,nj on rt 31 for those interested
he (the cop) was approaching me normally from the opposite direction when i drifted into his lane, he swerved to avoid a head-on collision then boom crash bang and i was grinding to a halt

i got out of my car, still unsure of what was going down and there's this cop getting out of a banged up cop car and he says "what the hell were you doing?"
which i thought was a pretty good question - answered by an "i'm not really sure - uhh what happened?"
and there you have it
everyone was fine, thankfully
i got issued a ticket for careless driving which later got downgraded to a "no points-big bucks" violation in court
and everyone went home happy
